A commission for a set of three artworks which came with a great creative brief and photos of the space. The artworks were to take inspiration from the colours and abstract shapes in the cushion, to be in a similarly semi-abstract style and feature natural elements. The clients have a fantastic house full of midcentury pieces, earthy tones and a collection of Carson Ellis artworks. The fauvist influence was liked for this room but I also took some inspiration from folk art in some of the shapes and patterns integrated.
